### What does Traffic Lab show?

Traffic Lab compares two journeys using a simplified model. You can change traffic inputs and explore how the model responds.

### Where do the traffic times come from?

Google Maps mode uses traffic-aware route estimates for the selected departure time. The simulation adds its own road and queue assumptions. Vehicle movement and journey comparisons are simulated. Open the model notes in the app for details.

### Does it prove self-driving is safe?

Road safety requires separate vehicle, software and operational testing. Traffic Lab illustrates traffic scenarios; it does not validate autonomous driving or guarantee travel-time savings.
